Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering

The Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at AURAK provides a comprehensive education to our students in civil and infrastructure engineering. Our four-year undergraduate program is unique in the region. The CIEN program’s curriculum is designed to equip its graduates with the necessary skills to embark upon their role as future civil engineers towards the region’s development.
Structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, transportation and pavement engineering, and construction engineering and management are the core subspecialties of the CIEN program. The program addresses society’s most pressing challenges, including sustainable engineering, global issues, and multidisciplinary problem-solving .
In addition, our program is designed to closely align with the current and future direction of civil and infrastructure engineering professions in the 21st century. The curriculum covers various topics, including construction and management, structural and materials engineering, highway and transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, and water and environmental engineering. Our state-of-the-art laboratories, equipped with the latest instruments provided by Stevin Rock L.L.C., allow our students to gain hands-on experience in various areas, including surveying, materials testing, geotechnical analysis, and more.
Upon graduation, our students are well-prepared for careers in various fields, including engineering design, planning, consulting, and contracting firms.
Join us at the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering and become part of a vibrant and dynamic community of engineers dedicated to improving society through innovative and sustainable solutions .
