
Dr. Maissa Farhat
Associate Professor - Electrical Engineering
Currently, Dr. Maissa Farhat is an Associate Professor and Chairman in the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the 大发快三官网 (AURAK), UAE. While serving as the Electrical Engineering program coordinator at AURAK during her tenure, she played an important role in obtaining CAA and ABET accreditation. She has also served as a Judge at the National Competition of Think Science in the United Arab Emirates, Member of the AURAK solar decathlon team, Member of the University Research Committee, Member of the School of Engineering Personnel Committee, as well as being Mentor of The Sustainable Campus Initiative.
His work and research interests are in three areas; Renewable energy systems, control system, power electronics and drives鈥
- Ph. D. degree in control engineering automatic and robotic from the University of the Basque Country, Spain and in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Gabes, Tunisia in 2015
- M.Sc degree in automatic and intelligent techniques from National School of Engineering of Gabes , Tunisia in 2011
