
Dr. Mohammed Alnahhal
Associate Professor – Industrial Engineering
Dr. Mohammed Alnahhal holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked at the Islamic University of Gaza for three years before earning his PhD in 2015 from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, where he focused on efficient material flow in mixed model assembly lines. After completing his PhD, he spent a year as a logistics consultant at Müller ‒ Die lila Logistik AG in Germany. He then served as a research fellow at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology for nearly two and a half years. In August 2019, Dr. Alnahhal joined the as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering, and in April 2023, he was promoted to Associate Professor. His research interests include Supply Chain Management, particularly in-house logistics, as well as simulation, operations research, genetic algorithms, neural networks, data analysis, and project management.
